My eldest daughter has just noticed that Dora The Explorer Season 5 is now on iTunes; needless to say we've bought it. I think that means we've 109 standard episodes plus quite a few of the specials.

Not quite as good as Dr Who - but not too bad compared to some of the alternatives.

This is the best reason for using Chrome I've seen yet - absolutely flies along in Chrome.

Yes I still dislike Chrome, but I'm doing some web dev at the moment, so have a fair few browsers installed.

For a young baby, say under 9 months (and better still if under 6 months) the techniques described work instantly if applied correctly. Mileage will vary though since a weak-minded caregiver will not succeed in doing as instructed.

Straight-jacket - swaddled to the point the child can not move.
Swing - a powered one - an essential tool if you plan to sleep. Put it on fast and always sleep in it constrained by the straight-jacket.
Shoosh - play a quite loud sound in the room throughout the night. The DVD has a suitable soundtrack that you can lift and loop.
Shake - but do it right. Best not to guess what this might mean.
Suck - we never bothered with this.

There are reflex behaviors that can be exploited very effectively too. But you surely already know about these?

Our kids fully understood from 6 weeks that parenting closes at 10pm and recommences no earlier than 6am. I have seen many a parent of a baby look knackered for months - they're invariably unreceptive to how to cure their problem and so I just get to pity them.

Yea, the outer bristles are 'splayed' but the inner is down to the plastic, its hard to get a good pic of. I brush my teeth the same as everyone else (i thought) do the bottom front, then bottom top, then bottom back, then start the same sequence on the upper teeth.

Had an electric toothbrush ages ago, I found that the heads didn't last long, and at their price i was like 'nah'. Obviously this is due to my failing technique of brushing my teeth.

On a side note though, i've never had a filling or a tooth removed.
